Alfalfa County officials lift burn ban but urge caution

Alfalfa County commissioners Mike Roach, Jay Hague, and Marvin Woodall took no action regarding the burn ban imposed on the county over the last several weeks. It had expired as of Monday's meeting. The three men asked those who burn to please use extreme caution.

Alfalfa County courthouse employee Tony Hellar was present at the meeting and explained the Oklahoma Mesonet's request to relocate and improve a magnetic whip antenna. The commissioners had no problem with it, and the motion to approve was carried.
