Some unique football players, part 4

During any regular National Football League (NFL) season, almost 2,000 athletes will play one or more games.

Each of the league’s 32 teams has a playing roster at any one time of 53 athletes plus five more on a “practice squad.” Additional players will be signed during the season.

Typically, teams will promote athletes from their practice squad to play a game or two while some regular player is unable to perform. That happened this past season to one of the most unique athletes ever to play in the NFL. His name is Lirim Hajrullahu. He was born in the eastern European country of Kosovo in 1990....
