MARVIN LEE GOULD

Marvin Lee Gould was born in Enid, Oklahoma, to Lee and Frances Gould, on January 19, 1949.

Marv loved pitching Little League baseball in Joplin, Missouri, and he graduated from Blackwell High School. He attended Northern College until he enlisted in the Army and became a helicopter electrician and went to the Vietnam War. Marv was a member of the Rowdy Rangers and followed the Rangers all he way to the National Championship Game. He was also an avid Goldbug fan, traveling many miles to watch games. Marv also enjoyed the trips he made with his camping buddies.

Marv married Janie Vangen on October 21, 1971. They had one son Jacob. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last October.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

He is survived by his wife Janie; son, Jacob and fiance Jordan Coffman; his sister, Louise (Garold) DeWitt; his brother, Ed (Donna) Gould; his sisters-in-law, Emmy (Mike) Otten and Marlene (Randy) Meyer; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

A celebration of his life will be planned at a later date.
