Annual FFA auction looks different, raises $10K

Eighth-grade FFA member Tyler Hill made Burlington Elks corn hole boards for the auction, with the help of fellow eighth-grade member Colton Hess.

The Burlington FFA did their annual auction a little differently this year. FFA students prepared projects to auction off on Tuesday, Feb. 15, instead of their traditional labor auction. All the same, they raised $10,000.

There were 21 projects available. Nearly every FFA member made a project or made one with another member. A variety of projects were available, including shelves, home decor, benches, a raised flower bed, paintings, a bird house, cutting boards and tables.
