Man charged after 2 people shot to death in Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. (AP) — A man is facing two counts of first-degree murder after two people were shot to death at a Wichita home.

Brandon Prouse Jr., 20, was charged Friday and his bond was set at $1 million.

Police responded to a call about a shooting at a southeast Wichita home on Feb. 13. Officers found 38-year-old Bonnie Galloway and 30-yaer-old Connor O'Callaghan wounded and they both died at the scene, police said.

Prouse and the victims knew each other and the shootings were believed to be drug-related, police said.
