VAP board makes major personnel changes

Former board of directors member Steve Sterling becomes interim CEO

Value Added Products (VAP), the frozen dough manufacturer in Alva, is trying to keep the yeast rising. The board of directors took some significant cost-savings measures they announced at their annual investor's meeting Feb. 12.

Longtime board member Steve Sterling agreed to step down and serve as VAP's interim CEO. Dacoma Co-op Manager Jake Kelln was elected by investors attending the meeting to replace Sterling on the board with a three-year term.
