March 3 marked the deadline for Senate committees to vote on measures that were introduced in this chamber. Of the nearly 800 bills that were filed this session, along with other measures that were carried over from last year, about 400 cleared that first hurdle, and now we’re focusing on completing floor votes on those bills by the March 24 deadline.
