The Little Red Hens community service group held their first annual Girls Night In for area middle school aged girls on March 25 at the Alva Recreation Center.

The girls were given different aspects of self defense training from BJCC Officers Collins and Doll, Chief Orcutt and the Alva Police Department and Officer Hawley as well as Brandy Johnson from the NW Domestic Crisis Center.
