House bill would prohibit companies' discriminating against 'firearm entities'

 


Here’s a very short civics lesson for you today – a bill has to be approved in both the Senate and the House before it can go to the governor’s desk to be signed into law. At this point in the legislative session, the Senate bills that made it through both the committee and floor votes have been sent over to the House of Representatives to start the process over again, and likewise, our committees are hearing legislation sent over from their chamber. That means every bill someone files in the House or the Senate has to have a co-author from the opposite chamber to carry it when it crosses over...
