So funny I cannot stand it!

How does Mr. Hamburger introduce his wife? ... Meet (meat) Patty.

Cleo told me to hurry up because Discover Oklahoma was doing a segment on Boiling Springs State Park by Woodward. I made it back just in time for the start. As they were showing us around Boiling Springs, they came to the camping area and visited with a member of a camping group. The man that talked about the park was Alva artist and ambassador Warren Little. As he always does on anything he is a part of, he did a good job. I have been to Boiling Springs several times over the years. It is a good spot for Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts to camp and have safe fun.

I was the pickup guy a time or two. It is also fun to drive through going from Mooreland to Woodward. Usually at the east end I would see deer lazing around.

Justin opened his store, Scribner Mercantile, this last week. Cleo and I hadn't seen it, so I took Cleo so she could hang around a while. His new business is just west of Haltom Insurance, so I parked on the west side of the building in the handicap spot. I got Cleo in the wheelchair without incident, but it went downhill from there.

At the corner where the ramp was, the street had been repaired. The asphalt was just piled up, making it nearly impossible to get across. I went over to the drive to the east to escape and it worked great. I could have just called the city to get it repaired but couldn't have gotten in a plug for the Mercantile.

I have told stories over the years about our Easter Egg hunts that made lots of great memories for Cleo and me, and hopefully for all the folks that participated. Old age, children growing up, and families moving away have sent us into egg hunt retirement. I have boxes and boxes of eggs left over. I will get them out this week and give them away to anyone that needs them. More room in the basement, and they will make more kids happy.

A farmer pulls a prank on Easter Sunday. After the egg hunt, he sneaks into the chicken coop and replaces every egg with a bright colored one. Minutes later, the rooster walks in. He spots the colored eggs, then storms out and beats up the peacock.

Let's all be safe out there, and God bless.
