Rangers complete comeback to sweep season series over the Bulldogs

 


WEATHERFORD, Okla. – Northwestern Oklahoma State softball overcame a five run deficit early to comeback to complete the season sweep over the Bulldogs. The Rangers used a five run fifth inning and six run seventh inning to pull off the 13-7 victory.

The win improves the Rangers record to 13-20-1 on the season with a 7-14 conference record. The win marks the Rangers first season sweep over Southwestern in softball dating back to the 2001 season. Northwestern has now won four straight games over the Bulldogs.
