Alfalfa County reinstates burn ban

Two of the Alfalfa County commissioners voted yea on enacting another seven-day countywide burn ban. Jay Hague said several fire chiefs had contacted him with concerns about the high winds and dry conditions and felt it was a good idea to issue a ban.

He also mentioned that Gov. Kevin Stitt was supposed to be making a statement or decision sometime that morning on issuing burn bans across the state.
