Rangers' bats explode for 23 hits in series opening win

ALVA, Okla. – The Ranger baseball team opened a three game series in a big way Friday evening winning 18-8 over the Wonder Boys behind 23 hits in the win. Northwestern had two four run innings and a six run fourth to jump out to the big lead before closing out the 10 run win in seven innings.

The win improves the Rangers to 19-25 on the season with a 12-16 conference record.

Yugo Hamakawa led the team with four hits as every single Ranger that batted had at least one hit in the win. Brandon Holdren, Blake Hoffman, Hayden Priest, and Bryan Guerrero each had three hits. Holdren led the team with...
