I want to thank the Oklahoma Department of Transportation and the Railroad Department for fixing the railroad crossing at Highway 8 near Carmen. I'm glad to see that repaired. It is now in much better condition. I appreciate the work of both departments in making this crossing much more drivable and safe for motorists.

I also want to give a few details of a measure we passed this week that the governor is expected to sign on Monday that could bring major economic development to our state and thousands of high-paying new jobs.
