If you want some attention, make an error in a 13,000 circulation publication. Last week in the Newsgram, I stated that one of the candidates who filed for Alfalfa County treasurer was the incumbent. That was incorrect. The current treasurer is retiring so like Woods County, Alfalfa County will have a new treasurer taking office after the election.
Several alert people called to let us know about the error. Others probably just ignored it, and still others probably don’t stay current on who serves in what office.
