Senate approves HB 3144 by huge margin; would ban discrimination against 'firearm entities'

We’ve now passed the deadline for the Senate to vote on measures that started out in the House, and they’ve wrapped up votes on bills that were first introduced in our chamber. Among those measures we voted on this past week was House Bill 3144, which was approved by a huge margin in our chamber on Wednesday. I’m the Senate principal author of this measure, which would prohibit state contracts from being made with companies that discriminate against a firearm entity or firearm trade association.
