Extension Educator Susan Holliday and a group of OHCE (Oklahoma Home and Community Education) members attended the meeting of the Woods County Commissioners Monday morning. Chairman Randy McMurphy read a proclamation declaring this OHCE Week in the county. He and Commissioners David Hamil and John Smiley voted to approve it.

The commissioners approved a road crossing permit for Targa for natural gas. The crossing is located at 22-29-14 to 27-29-14 with a fee of $500. The location is north of Alva.
