Peggy Louise Jackson Wells, 87, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on May 6, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Washington Avenue Christian Church with Pastor Jim Shelburne officiating.

Peggy was born on January 20, 1935, in Alva, Oklahoma, to Roy and Alice Jackson. She graduated from Alva High School, home of the Goldbugs, in 1953.

She married her soul mate and love of her life Vernon "Jerry" Wells on November 26, 1975 in Goddard, Kansas. They spend 42 wonderful years together until his passing in 2017.
