As the fiscal year winds down, the Woods County Commissioners found on their agenda a number of transfers among budget accounts to finish out the year. David Hamil, Randy McMurphy and John Smiley were all present for the Monday morning meeting along with County Clerk Shelley Reed.
The commissioners approved the following monthly reports:

Ashley Woodall visited the meeting to present the SLA (State-Local Agreement) for GIS data maintenance services. The total award is $12,000 with the local portion being $2,400. Woodall said the $2,400 to be paid will be split among the four counties served by Woods County E911. The commissioners approved the agreement.
The following list of transfers was approved:
• From General Fund Reval/Visual Travel to Personnel Services $7,209 for the Assessor and from General Fund Assessor Travel to Personnel Services $2,875.
• From General Sales Tax Fund/Personnel Services to Court Clerk Personnel Services $4,900.
• From General Fund Treasurer Travel to Personnel Services $1,500.
• From E911 Sales Tax Fund/Part-Time to E911 Personnel Services $30,000 and from General Sales Tax Fund/Personnel Services to E911 Personnel Services $20,000.
Under new business, McMurphy said the Senior Citizens Center roof leaked in a different place during the recent rain. It has been determined that a beam is broken in the area of the walk-in freezer, and that’s where the leak occurred. He said the beam needs to be reinforced and the roof needs to be patched. He said he’ll be working to get some quotes to fix the problems so the commissioners can address them at a future meeting.
The commissioners approved warrants, claims, monthly appropriations and blanket purchase orders.
