Early in the season Junior High Head Track Coach Matt Cantrell told the Newsgram, "Our junior high kids will work and compete hard this year." The kids certainly proved their coach's statement to be true.
As the season concluded, Coach Cantrell said "I'm very proud of the kids. It's great you can set one record, let alone six of them." He said the goals were met with everyone meeting their Personal Record (PR) at the HOPL meet.
