The Avard Regional Rail Park Authority had its monthly meeting Tuesday. Stan Bixler, Allan Poe, Ed Sutter and Todd Holder were present, and Bob Firth was absent. Darren Slater, Woods County Commissioner Randy McMurphy, and Woods County Clerk Shelley Reed were in attendance, and Jill Shero and Josh McClintock from Emblem Strategies were joining via satellite.
The authority began by approving last month's meeting minutes, followed by the finance report. As of May 12, the balance sheet reflected $422,724.35 in checking/savings.
