Warrants issued for Alva woman

 


A felony warrant has been issued in Woods County for an Alva woman who failed to register her address.

On Feb. 2, 2018, Lisa Marie Melton pleaded guilty and was convicted of accessory to murder in the second degree in Woods County. She received a 12 year sentence in the custody of the Oklahoma Department of Corrections.

Due to the nature of the charge, the State of Oklahoma Mary Rippy Violent Crime Offenders Registration Act requires Melton to register the address of her residence. Melton was notified of her duty to register on May 20, 2021, upon her release from custody. Melton registered her...
