Cherokee school board approves temporary and supplemental appropriations

 


The Cherokee board of education met Monday evening to receive a financial update and conduct routine business.

Finances were discussed at several points in the meeting. The consent agenda (which was approved) consisted mostly of financial reports.

As part of that discussion, Superintendent Bryce Schanbacher pointed out an unusually large expense in the general fund: $13,110 to Chas. A. Carroll. “Some of that has been carried over for several years,” he said, “but then Pat Carroll had to audit that account going back several years at the request of lawyers.
