Two men are facing animal cruelty charges in Alfalfa County

 


Two men from Cherokee have been charged with animal cruelty after one dead puppy and one living puppy were found in a residence.

Court papers show on May 14, Cherokee Police Sgt. Tristan Hall received a call from Officer Chris Horstman regarding a deceased animal report. Hosrtman said he was contacted by dispatch because a man reported going to his brother’s residence in the 200 block of South Euclid. He said he knocked on the door, and there was no answer.
