Congratulations Oklahoma girls' softball team!

The OU girls won it all Thursday evening for championships two years in a row. On the men's side Oklahoma is not out of it yet. Maybe, just maybe they can win their side for a sweep of the NCAA tournaments.

Thursday evening one TV channel had Republican debates for a senate job. Another had hearings about the January 6 storming of the capitol building. The Democrats must have been in charge of program timing, because they came on at the same time.

I didn't watch either one. I watched Family Feud reruns. I think my mind was a lot less insulted by not watching the political gibberish.

I hope the weatherman was wrong about today. It listed the temperature at over 100 degrees. I sure hope fall starts about the middle of July.

A while back when Cleo was in the hospital, you could look out of her south-facing room early in the morning or late in the evening and see deer on the pasture just past the road. I had an appointment at the doctor at 3 p.m. Wednesday, and to my surprise there was a large doe eating alongside the road when i came out. She just ran a little way, then came right back to one of the corn piles along the road.

I haven't decided if they are baiting the deer for the residents to enjoy or for meals if food prices continue rising.

Isn't this so cool, fellow Seenagers (Senior teenager)? I have everything I wanted as a teenager, only 60 years later. I don't have to go to school or work. I get an allowance every month. I have my own pad, and I don't have a curfew. I have a driver's license and my own car. The people I hang around with are not scared of getting pregnant, and they don't do drugs. And I don't have acne. Life is great!

Let's all be safe and cool out there, and God bless.
