Loyd Thomas Stout was born, the youngest son, to Harry O. Stout and Lydia Elliot Stout, on September 2, 1923, on a farm in Alfalfa County northwest of Lambert, Oklahoma. He passed away at the Kiowa Hospital District Manor on June 9, 2022 at the age of 98.5 years of age.

He attended and graduated from Lambert School in 1941. His graduation class was the largest class to ever graduate from Lambert High School with 21 students.
