No action was taken on the city business manager recruitment in a special Alva City Council meeting Thursday. The city council will again address the business manager search during an executive session at Monday’s regular meeting. The city council will meet at 6:30 p.m. July 18 in the council chambers at City Hall.

Citizens attending the meeting will have an opportunity to speak following a number of reports from staff and the mayor’s report. Citizens speaking must identify themselves and their remarks are limited to two minutes per speaker.
