Alfalfa County officials take no action on Cherokee hospital demo

 


Monday morning in Alfalfa County, Mike Roach, Jay Hague and Marvin Woodall listened to a presentation by Darren Theel of Theel Insurance and Financial Services. The three commissioners didn't take any action and expressed reluctance to change current insurance options.

Officials also opted to take no action on awarding bids for the demolition of the old hospital on Grand Street in Cherokee. Jackson Wrecking Company out of Enid sent in a bid totaling $104,000 while Level Demolition's came in at $100,000. The commissioners wanted more time to review the specifics.
