Alfalfa County man arrested on rape charges

An Alfalfa County man has been arrested on charges on first degree rape. Craig Patrick Drouhard, 44, of Goltry, has been charged with two felony counts of rape – first degree (by force or fear). This crime is punishable by five years to life in prison.

According to court records, Deputy Sheriff TJ Rockenbach told Alfalfa County Sheriff Rick Wallace he had received information of a rape that occurred in Goltry approximately two years ago. The victim was 17 at the time and the rapes resulted in a pregnancy, according to the information.

Wallace conducted an investigation including serving two search warrants at Drouhard’s home on July 19.

During a post-Miranda interview, Drouhard said the victim was living at his residence in May and June of 2020. During the same time, his wife was working from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. doing home health work in Enid. Drouhard denied the allegations, according to the affidavit.

Drouhard’s next court appearance will be on Aug. 3.
