Funeral services for Betty Higbie were held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 30, 2022, at the Marshall Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Paul Kirk officiating. Burial followed at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, north of Carmen. Arrangements were entrusted to Wentworth Mortuary LLC of Carmen.

Betty Lou Higbie, daughter of the late George Daniel and Winnie Margueritte (McMahon) Salwaechter, was born September 26, 1935, at Woodward, Oklahoma, and passed away July 26, 2022, at Kiowa, Kansas, at the age of 86 years and 10 months.
