Princess and Junior Princess crowned at Barber County Rodeo

Riding into the arena at the Barber County Rodeo Friday night, the princess candidates were as adorable as the colors of their western attire were bright and pretty.
Competing in the BCRR Princess Contest prior to the rodeo, the contestants were scored on their horsemanship and interviews skills. Their advanced tickets sales also counted.
Angel Stewart of Kiowa was named the 2022 BCRR Princess. Age 14, she is the daughter of Jeremy and Shawna Stewart of Kiowa, Kansas. Angel enjoys riding her horse "Bandit" and loves the color purple. Angel's interest is to study to be a veterinarian.
