Active Covid-19 cases jump to 21 in Alva

In data released Thursday, the Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) reports that Alva has 21 active cases of Covid-19. This is a big increase from the six cases reported a week ago. Waynoka also increased from zero to five. No cases were listed for Dacoma or Freedom although the OSDH report suppresses anything below five to show zero.

Thursday’s report shows there are 20,663 active cases of Covid-19 in the state. Looking at the county seats of counties surrounding Woods, the City of Woodward has 41 active cases, a slight increase from last week’s 37. Fairview has 13 cases compared to nine a week ago. Cherokee and Buffalo show no cases. The OSDH reports Enid with 217 active cases up from 183 last week.
