ALVA, Okla. – Northwestern Oklahoma State has announced head softball coach Ryan Wondrasek has stepped down after accepting a Division I softball job opportunity.

"When Ryan told me of the opportunity to coach at a Division One of his dreams, I understood his desire to be there. I know he was torn as he has worked extremely hard at building our program and putting us on a trajectory upward for success. With that being said, I appreciate all he has done as he has built a solid foundation for our continued success," said Athletic Director Brad Franz.
