One of their own, Rebecca Davidson, was also awarded Advanced Provider of the Year. These awards are from nominations for different emergency responding agencies and first responders throughout the state of Oklahoma.

Alva EMS crew member Rebecca Davidson was awarded the Advanced Provider of the Year Award by the OEMTA.

In the last year, the ambulance service has greatly improved as a service. Many educational and training hours have been completed along with having a great success in field treatments and overall better patient outcomes. Ambulance members say they enjoy volunteering with the Alva Wesleyan Food Bank and Senior Citizen Center and helping to bring additional community blood drives to the area; they plan to continue to do so regularly.
