Alva woman charged with grand larceny

An Alva woman has been charged in Woods County for allegedly taking more than $19,000 from a home where she worked. Angela Littrell, 61, of Alva has been charged with grand larceny in a house, a felony. This crime is punishable by imprisonment for up to eight years.

Court documents show Don Campbell contacted law enforcement on July 4 to report a theft. He told Woods County Deputy Sheriff Dakota Davis that a caretaker he hired had stolen cast amounting to $19,100 and five silver coins from his residence on Woodlake Drive.
