The ongoing drought has produced major challenges over the past several months, including wildfires. I want to express my sincere thanks to Mooreland Fire Chief Travis Case, his department, and all first-responders and other volunteers who faced enormous challenges in battling the Mooreland blaze. I also want to thank Gov. Kevin Stitt for his assistance.
The Mooreland Fire Department has 17 firefighters and three paramedics, but with the size of this fire, additional manpower was critical. I want to thank our surrounding communities and counties for their aid, providing an additional 14 strike...
