We all have, or have had, a best friend at one time or another. Best friends spend time doing things together; they share things with each other, especially secrets, because they know that they can trust them! Best friends will do anything for each other.

Proverbs 17:17 says, “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity,” and Proverbs 18:24 says, “One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” It seems that God created us with the need to have a friend that we can lean on at all times, good or bad.
