Early voting continues in primary runoff election

Early voting began Thursday in the primary runoff election in Oklahoma. Voters in Woods County may participate in early voting at the county election board, located in the Downtown Mall just south of the courthouse in Alva. Voting is from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Several state and congressional candidates are on the ballot to decide which candidates will be in the general election on Nov. 8.

Republicans will decide between Todd Russ and Clark Jolley for state treasurer. Ryan Walters and April Grace are the candidates for state superintendent of public instructio...
