Disturbing the peace complaint leads to other charges

Two Carmen women were charged with misdemeanors after the Alfalfa County Sheriff’s Office investigated a complaint of loud music. Later one of the women faced further charges involving neglect of her son.
Court records show on Aug. 16 about 3 a.m. a Carmen woman called to report loud noise from a neighboring house. She didn’t know the exact address but provided her own address. Alfalfa County Sheriff’s Deputy Diego Gutierrez went to the complaint’s address where she pointed out the house on the opposite corner from hers as the place with the loud music.
