Alva Covid-19 cases decrease; Freedom, Waynoka have increases

Active Covid-19 numbers have decreased in Alva, but Freedom and Waynoka have increases. The Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) data released on Thursday lists Alva with nine active cases compared to 13 a week ago. Freedom has five cases with zero for last week. Waynoka has 11 active cases, up from eight a week ago. Dacoma is still listed with zero cases. The OSDH suppresses numbers below five, listing them as zero.
The state of Oklahoma has 17,492 active cases of Covid-19 compared to 16,238 a week ago. In surrounding counties, the county seats show Cherokee with 6, Buffalo 7, Fairview 19 and Woodward 39. Enid has 248 active cases.
Over the past four weeks, the active Covid-19 cases for counties in this area are 44 for Woods County, 32 for Alfalfa, 116 for Major, 109 for Woodward county and 20 for Harper.
