Two late first-half goals help lead Northwestern over Newman Sunday

ALVA, Oklahoma – Sunday afternoon the Rangers hosted their second non-conference game of the season against Newman University. The Rangers were able to find momentum late in the first half finding the back of the net twice. This helped lead to Northwestern being able to score one more goal in the second half, finishing the match 3-1 over the Jets.
Abby Nunez led Northwestern with four shots and Callie Haneborg had three. Nunez scored one out of her five attempts. Christi-Anne Mills had two shots, one goal, and one assist throughout the match for a three point afternoon. Rangers led in shots 20...
