Alfalfa County commissioners terminate employment of emergency manager

At this Monday's Alfalfa County commissioner meeting, Jay Hague motioned to enter into an executive session in which the other two commissioners – Mike Roach and Marvin Woodall – said aye. The session was to discuss the employment of the county's emergency manager, Shana Wells, who happened to be in the gallery, along with Jamy Wells. Upon reconvening, Roach said they decided to take action on the matter discussed and motioned to discharge Wells. "As of 11 a.m., we are going to dismiss Shana Wells as Alfalfa County emergency manager," he said, and Hague seconded.
