Memorial graveside services for David Webster will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2022, at the Carmen City Cemetery. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Wentworth Mortuary, LLC, of Carmen.

David Owen Webster, son of the late S.J. and Edith Maxine (Cordell) Webster, was born December 19, 1952, at Cherokee, and passed away September 15, 2022, at Midwest City, at the age of 69 years, 8 months and 27 days.

He attended and graduated from Carmen-Dacoma High School with the Class of 1971. David loved a good game – cards, bingo, board games, even bowling. He was in a bowling league when his children were young. He loved football, having played in high school and followed local teams and his favorite college team of OU, as well as the Kansas City Chiefs. David loved spending time with family and always enjoyed good food. He was also a living history reenactor at the Old Cowtown Museum in Wichita, Kansas.

Besides his parents, S.J. and Edith, he was preceded in death by one brother, Alan Webster; and one sister-in-law, Dianne Webster.

David is survived by his daughter, Melissa Turley and her husband, Israel, and their daughter, Isabelle, of California, Missouri; his son, Paul Webster of Conway Springs, Kansas; two brothers, Gary Webster of Holyoke, Colorado, and

J.D. Webster and his wife, Tammy, of Canon City, Colorado; one sister, Jan Stonehocker and her husband, Ryland, of Carmen; one sister-in-law, Debra Webster of Wichita, Kansas; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Carmen Fire Department.
