Freedom's Junior/Senior Trip dates set for May 10-17

The Freedom School Board met for a relatively brief and routine meeting Monday evening. All members, except Russell Reed, were present.
Student Activities
Dates have been set for the Junior/Senior trip days: May 10 to May 17, 2023.
The board approved sending five students to the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana, in October.
The FCCLA has been approved to sell car decals, and also to sell baked goods at a coffee bar.
Personnel
The board approved hiring Leslie Shelite as an adjunct teacher of math and science classes in grades 3 and 4, and also visual arts classes.
