Women's golf concludes Lady Panther invite

BOLIVAR, Mo. – Northwestern Oklahoma State traveled to Missouri for their second invitational of the fall season. The Rangers had five individuals competing in the Lady Panther Invite at the Silo Ridge Country Club hosted by Drury. In the two day invite the Rangers finished in 15th with a score of 657 after shooting a 331 in round one followed by a 326 in round two.

Samantha Friday led the Rangers finishing with a 159 after shooting a team low in Day 1 with a 77 followed by an 82. Friday finished shooting one birdie through the tournament. She finished tied for 27th overall in the tournament.

The next Ranger to finish was Madison Masch tied for 53rd overall in the tournament after shooting two birdies. Masch shot an 84 in the opening round before improving with an 80 in the second round of the invite, finishing at 164.

The third Northwestern golfer was Sofia McElroy finishing tied for 56th with a 165 shooting an 85 in the first round before concluding the tournament with an 80 in round two improving her score by five swings in Day 2.

Madison Kerr was the fourth Northwestern golfer finishing 69th overall in the tournament with a score of 170 after also improving in the second round shooting an 86 in the opening round followed by an 84 in day two.

Angela Egger finished 70th in the tournament with a score of 171 shooting an 85 in Day 1 of the tournament before concluding the second round with an 86.
