Worshipful Master Gary Cue of Alva Masonic Lodge #105 (left) and Lodge Secretary Brian Thomas (standing right) present Sister Bettielou Lane of Alva Order of Eastern Star Chapter 97 with a check to help with the expenses of her recent surgery. The fraternity especially keeps the promises made to their brothers in the fraternity to watch over their wives, widows and orphans. The fraternity has assisted Nathan Rogers' family with medical expenses, Alva Robotics Team, Alva Rainbow Girls and, last spring, scholarships to Alva High School Students of Today graduating seniors.
