We’re at a point in our nation where engagement in discussion over civil matters between people with opposite beliefs seems to be at an all-time low. If you watch or read the news or try to participate on social media today, we appear a fractured nation between different yet passionately held opinions with little desire or consideration for the other person's view. Even when we totally disagree with the other viewpoint, it seems we tend to belittle those in opposition rather than being civil to each other.
