Daisy Watson was born March 1, 1931, in Forrest City, Arkansas, one of seven children born to Olly Franklin and Dorthy Louise Norton. She passed away on October 27, 2022, at the age of 91. Daisy and her first husband had one child, Imogene Smith. Then in 1965 Daisy and William Watson were married. They had one child, Mayble Watson.

Early in her life, Daisy worked in fields of cotton, corn and broom corn. She loved all plants and her favorite hobby was raising flowers in her yard. Daisy did much canning, baking cookies and cakes, and making different kinds of candy. Her baking and candies were...
