Burlington schools held its inaugural induction of National Honor Society (NHS) members on Nov. 9. Five students were selected by a panel of faculty members based on their completed applications and adherence to the NHS qualities of scholarship, leadership, service and character.

Family, faculty and community members were present at the ceremony honoring the students for their accomplishments. Members receiving their NHS pin and reciting the NHS pledge were seniors JC Crusinbery, Kevin Kaumans, and Brooke Whittet and juniors Sterling Stewart and Mylee Sims.
