Woods County to pay for Waynoka waterline using ARPA funds

When Waynoka Mayor Susan Bradford asked the Woods County commissioners for financial assistance with a new waterline, the commissioners expressed a willingness to do so. However, they said the City of Waynoka would need to advertise for bids so they’d know the total amount needed. The new waterline will connect current waterlines to property newly annexed into the city where a developer is building an entertainment venue and RV parking. According to a legal notice for the bidding, the waterline is about 8,500 feet long and will use 6 inch PVC pipe.
